Hi all,
Recently threw together some old parts for a office PC for my Dad, but noticed a weird issue with the RAM. Here's a screen shot from Speccy:
As you can see, I have two RAM sticks installed (in the configuration 2x1GB, identical and matching sticks), but they're only running in single-channel. I ran Memtest for an hour or so and it passed with no issues. My motherboard is a Packard-Bell MCP73PVT-PM (an OEM board, nForce 630i chipset)
Anyone know how to solve this? I know it only wields about a 5% performance increase when running dual-channel, but it's only a 2GB system and needs all the performance it can get!
Woody
