is the amd hd 7770 video card compatible with msi z1-7641 motherboard? Because was running the 7770 on this motherboard, but every time I ran the game, the pc would crash. at first I thought that the card was overheating, because on the driver the card got up to 65 degrees celcius, which it then crashed. I turned fan speed up and tried again, but it stayed at 35 degrees celcius this time, but crashed and restarted anyway. Please help, otherwise I will have to sell my card and buy a new one.

I doubt it's the motherboard. More than likely it's either your power supply (assuming the GPU isn't faulty), or a corrupted driver install. What model name/# is your power supply?

Anyways, I'd recommend going the free route before you replace anything. Install DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html use it to remove the driver, then reinstall the newest driver from AMD's website http://support.amd.com/en-us/download make sure to get the correct one for your operating system.

I don't know the exact model number, but I believe I have a 500 watt power supply... I will check, but ill have to open my pc, so I will let you know what it actually is shortly. I also checked if all of my gpu drivers were up to date, and the analysis came up positive, but I will try ddu....

thanks
