I am thinking of buying the ASRock extreme9 witch got Intel dual lan 1 GB ports and I Wonder what is the negative and posete sides.

Should I buy dual Intel lan or not?

Any comnent is very welcom ;-)

Each port is 1Gb. With specific hardware you can get higher LAN speeds, but it is very limited in usability.

Your upload and download speeds will be limited by your ISP. Unless you have gigabit fiber to your home, a single port is more than enough.

Negative -- You will probably never use the 2nd network port, even though you pay something (unknown amount) for it.

Positive -- If you have a managed switch AND a NAS which can support link aggregation, you might be able to get greater than 1Gb throughput between the two devices. You can setup a private network in addition to your WAN connection.
