Okay so i bought a used r9 280 this morning and installed it in my pc only to find out that a blank blue screen appears after the windows loading icon. Now considering the fact that i didn't have an optical drive i copied the driver files from the driver CD to a USB and then installed everything on my PC.
Now i attempted to use my GPU only to find the same plain blue screen(not the bsod). Will installing an optical drive in my PC and then booting my PC work?
I checked the GPU on my cousin's PC and it worked as expected. Got to the desktop, installed drivers, rebooted and ran like a charm. Any help concerning this issue will be greatly appreciated...
