worth the $20 upgrade from fx8320 to fx8350?

I was just wondering if it was worth the upgrade and if my GTX 760 4gb would bottleneck with either of those CPUs

Solution
The FX 8320 is the same exact chip as the fx 8350.

However, there is one key difference... the fx 8350 is a higher binned chip. the cream of the crop per se. Or the fx 8320's are the cast aways (two ways of saying the same thing really). This means that the fx 8350's on average will clock higher at better settings and will most likely last longer at high frequencies. BUT, if you just wanted to run the thing at 4.0 ghz or something like that, the fx 8320 should be able to do this with relative ease.

I ran my fx 8350 for 3 years clocked at 4.5 ghz on stock frequency, now its clocked at 4.0 running 24/7 in my esxi whitebox homelab. Its a great chip that offers you flexibility with what it can do.

I would recommend getting the 8350.

8350 will give you better performance and over-clocking. The 8320 is just an under-clocked 8350. The 8320 is actually better value considering how much it costs compared to its performance. It's up to you but they're really close in performance.
You can overclock 8320 to 8350 speed. Use that $20 to buy a CPU cooler.

and GTX 760 will not bottleneck with either of those CPUs.

Technically no because the 8320 can be easily overclocked to 8350 speeds. And no, the 760 will not bottleneck either of those CPU because it doesn't work like that. The CPU is not dependent on the GPU. The GPU is dependent on the CPU. If you have a weaker CPU, there is a possibility of the CPU not supporting the GPU. If you have a weak GPU, you just have a weak GPU that's not going to perform at the desired level.

As always, make sure you have a good 990 board (or a very good 970, typically not recommended) to support either of those CPUs.
