I have an MSI GE70 Apache Pro-681 laptop with an i7 4720hq 2.6ghz processor and a gtx 960m, was wondering if I would be able to overclock at all if any and if it would be safe due to the fact it is a laptop and it doesn't allow for aftermarket cooling.

I don't think you can overclock laptops as far as I am aware of due to heat reasons.
