Overclocking on my gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 isn't working. PLEASE HELP!

I am trying to overclock my FX-8350 Black Edition CPU, but I can't change any of the settings when it comes to frequencies... Please help! The settings aren't locked because other people have overclocked on this motherboard. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

I'm confused... how are you unable to change any of the frequencies? Please be more specific on what you're trying to change and lets work on one section at a time.

I cannot change clock speeds, cpu frequencies, etc. I can change other settings like quiet & cool and VSM.

Which version board do you have and do you have the latest bios? Generally on this board you have to turn off the turbo first then change the multiplier.

I think i have the latest bios... I dont really know how to update/install the new one. I tried checking but figured the disk driver/bios/installer was good enough.
