I am currently looking to upgrade to a GTX 980ti. From what I read, the 980ti requires 40a on the 12v rail.
My psu:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0AJ33Z2781&cm_re=vampire_800w-_-17-152-057-_-Product
My psu has 2 12v rails each rated at 35 amps. Because the 980ti uses two connectors to power the card, could I plug in one cable to rail 1 and one into rail 2 so that (theoretically) say 23a is pulled from rail 1 and 17 from rail 2?
