Looking for solution to increase speed after SAP installed in lap

Hai, Recently i installed SAP module (260 GB) in Dell inspriron N5040 which 4 GB RAM (2X2GB), 320 GB HDD & i3 processor, after installed my laptop getting slow down which i cant work comfortably and also the up & down arrow key is functioning for rotate the screen. How to improve to laptop speed and resolve the up down key error.

Might try adding DRAM (4GB on a laptop isn't really enough for SAP), also check in startup and see if the module is adding anything to startup, it probably is to speed up it's opening when you go to run it, in the meantime it just eats a chunk of your DRAM.....on the up down arrow thing (cleaning startup might resolve that issue) might look in the module and see if that action can be disabled
