Solution
That PSU is OK but I'd get a higher quality one for a ~$1500 build.

There's a good one.

I'd also get a smaller SSD to save money if it was me, unless you need need more than 250gb just for programs.

That RAM will only run at 1866Mhz if overclocking, otherwise it will run at 1600Mhz. You might as well just buy 1600Mhz as it is cheaper and there isn't much of a performance difference.

Other than that it all looks good to me.

This pc is over kill for 1080p infact it can run 1440p 60fps+ without sli or crossfire

So when you want to sli dont sli just get a new 1440p monitor

If you dont want to move then the 980 or even 970 enough

I dont know if programming and designing take alot of space or no

So i added 1tb hdd and 250 ssd ( make sure to install games like bf4 and programs like Sony vegas on it so it load fast )

And the 1tb for files

Thanks

Also the gpu is Evga and your parts
Preferences is msi for stuff like GPU but the EVGA is better cause of Good customer service and stuff also the gpu thats in the list is over clocked from the factory so if you wont over clock it have better frame rates but its not overclocked to it's poteinal so if you got it and want to over clock you can
