Nvidia 9500 GT compatible with core 2 duo's Power Supply??? NEED URGENT HELP

Guys here's the deal i want to upgrade the gpu bcz it has a shitty q45 chipset... I wanted to buy a 9500 GT bcz i think i can get a cheap used one.. as there is curroption in pakistan..
so please help me.. if this isn't compatible then what is?
I need to play GTA 4, Mafia 2 like games

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @3.00GHZ
Ram DDR3 3GB
HDD: 500 GB
Intel Q45 Express Chipset (1333mb)
PSU: I think its saying 235w
Casing: Desktop PC

Urgent Help needed

so nvidia says you need a bit more power, however 50 extra W should be fine... (i say should) but it's also possible that it won't work. a bit less power hungry option is the gtx 750. safest would be to get also a new power supply, can you check if it's a standard sized psu? and that there are no vendor specific power connectors used?
