Hi All,

I need your input folks here is my latest build (I just completed it last week). Im only gaming in a 1080p IPS pannel @ 60Hz

Procie: Intel Core i7 4790
Mobo: MSI H97 Gaming 3
Graphics Card: Asus Strix OC GTX 970 4GB
Ram: 8GB Dual Channel (2x4gb) DDR3 1600mhz Kingston HyperX Fury
PSU:[/b ]Corsair VS 650
SSD: Intel 530 series 120gb
HDD: WD black 2TB
Monitor: Asus IPS VX239( im not sure haha)

What did I buy wrong or what can I still replace to get more performance? Is it worth it for me to upgrade my monitor to a 144hz monitor 1080p or im all ok?

Let me know your thoughts.

Get better:-
: Asus Z97-A ($148.99 @newegg.com)
: Both are great cards but MSI edges out ASUS with a tiny margin but i would go for MSI if anyone tells me to pick among them.
: EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular PSU around $85 / XFX XTR 650W Fully-Modular +80 Gold Certified ($109.99 @ newegg.com)
: 250 GB Samsung EVO 850 ( $99.99 newegg.com)
Rest all seems just fine.

I kind of purchased the H97 chipset for the reason that I have non k i7 ( I dont really like overclocking for some reason ) Would the Z97 one gives me any viable better upgradability or whatever?

How can I ?.Firstly, I apologize for my mistake, made it 4790 - 4790K. Yes, if you don't need to overclock then it's fine. According to your question, there is another visible difference: H97 only supports 1x16 PCI-E graphics (single card) while Z97 supports 1x16 or 2x8 or 1x8+2x4 PCI-E (multiple graphic card configurations).
