My build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/HhVPHx
My PSU is Seasonic 520W M12II-520 Evolution modular 80+ Bronze
I also have an asus DVD writer:asus DRW-24d3st

So, my GPU crashes sometimes. It has only happened when playing Witcher 3. Sometimes I can play 3+ hours without it crashing. This mostly happens when I'm in a city with lots of NPC's.

Gladly I can play pretty much everything else without it crashing. My first initial thoughts were that my PSU is too weak :(

Solution
That's a typical CTD for a 970.

I used to get them a LOT on my Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970. It would never happen at MAX boost or OC. It would happen when the card was switching between intermediate boost states between base clock and max boost.

IMO, Maxwell voltage / efficiency targets are too agressive.

I modded my BIOS and created a custom voltage table, bumping the midrange up a bit. On my card, most boost states only needed their lower threshold bumped up. I have only had ONE (1) driver crash in over 2 months.

Well I really don't know. My screen goes black for a few seconds and I get the message "Display Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered". I have only monitored my GPU and its peak temp during load is like 74 C. Also I was Googling it and some people say it's the PSU.

No, that's why I'm surprised I have this kind of problem :/
