Hi !

I want to host a miencraft server to play with my friends, but I have not been succesfull in doing so. Thats why I need your help! I have portforwarded my router, enabled minecraft in the firewall, made 25565 UDP and TCP port in the firewall and all that stuff but still my friend cant connect to it.

Windows 7 Ultimate
Minecraft 1.8.7 and server
We both have legitimate Minecraft
Router: Huawei B593

Do you have ideas what I should do?

Thank you

Im not any expert in minecraft just to get that out.

Do you run any mods that might block your friends from joining, do you have the lastest version of Minecraft Serverfile, and do you have the latest required Java which Minecraft Servers requires?

There is a much simpler way of making a minecraft server instead of port forwarding, another way could be that you use a program called Hamachi (its free and good).

There are many videos that show how to make a minecraft server with hamachi, its REALLY simple!
