Choosing the right Combo of storage drives, and what storage drives to buy!?!?!

So, basically, my long term plan here is to buy an SSD, put my free upgrade of windows 10 on it, then buy a NAS Drive, and before hooking it up, use it to temporary store my "Old"(Or current as of today) HDD's files on it so i can re-partition the HDD, then move the files i want back onto the HDD and use it as a secondary drive for my system, as the SSD is my OS.

So the questions I need answered in this thread would be, what SSD I should buy, and how should i put together a NAS drive, what drives should i use?!?!

The biggest issue here, is I have about a $100 budget to buy everything but the NAS drive. I will be using the NAS drive to backup all the PC's in my house to, probably around 2 times a week and need it to last a while.

If some of you are confused at all, or are specificly confused about why I am doing it the way I am, take a look at these other threads of mine that got me to where I am now.

Thanks for you help!

P.S. Hey, i will not have access to a computer for the next few days, and next week, i will have limited access, and the week after that, none again. So, if you have any major questions, ask now before the end of today, and hopefully when i get access again, a lot of progress will be made.

You need more money. $100 might get the SSD. Or it will buy a big hard drive.

Need to know what amounts of storage capacity you need.

What is the SSD going to be used for? Boot disk? everything?

I need a better picture of what you need right away and why... And then where you want to end up.

Please look at the 2 links I gave near the end of the opening response, they say "1st" & "2nd", sorry if I made this unclear, the SSD will be a boot drive and does not need a lot of storage, definitely not more than 250Gigs, and if i buy it on amazon, i do have a prime account, so take that into account if there are any discounts. The rest of the data will be on the HDD, and then both will be backed up to the NAS drive if i get it.
