I have one question.

I wanna buy pretty "old" computer and i dont know if PSU is good enough.

LC Power LC8750 whic has +12v1 = 26A, 12v2 = 26A (580w), +3.3V = 28A +5V =30A (160W) -12v=0,5A (6w) +5Vsb= 2,5A (12,5)W (all together 750w)

I wanna buy :
fx 4300
8gb of ram
mobo : ASRock 960GM-VGS3 FX
and deciding between gtx 570/7870 or 7950

the question is will PSU handle that, and will cpu bottleneck with gpu?

I saw that 7870 needs 23A and 500W min
gtx 570 35A and 550W
7950 25A and 500W min

I am newbie, thanks

Wow, that place has a massive list of junk power supplies. I narrowed my search to power supplies between 550 watts and 620 watts. And with the price restriction you placed, only 1 unit was good enough quality, and that was the XFX Core Edition Pro 550 Watt. I have been told that the XFX Core power supply was made by Seasonic. So you would still be getting a Seasonic made power supply if my info is correct.
We only have 1 LC Power listed, and it is not been rated. Which means they have not sent any out for reviews. That probably says all you need to know about that unit.

But, here I go.

You say the pair of +12 volt rails in the LC power 750 watt unit are capable of 580 watts.
In a Seasonic G-750 unit, which is also a 750 watt unit, the single +12 volt rail supplies 648 watts.

I actually have to go down to the Seasonic G-550 power supply to get down to 540 watts on the +12 volt rail.

So that LC power must be one pretty cheaply made power supply if on a 750 watt unit they are only supplying 40 watts more than a Seasonic G-550.

I would not use that. If its that weak on power, it is most likely also missing most or all of the safety protection circuits. I would call it a junk power supply.

As for the rest of the parts, the FX 4300 is ok. On CPU intensive games, it can bottleneck those video cards. But it will be ok for most games. I do not think there will be a big difference in performance between those video cards. but I think the 7950 would be the best one of those 3. I almost bought one of those new back in the day.

What about xfx core edition pro 550w? Good enough for that system?

I do not see an XFX Core on our list. I looked at Newegg, and they have a $65.99 price on that. I also found a review of an XFX Core 550w power supply dated March 18, 2011. That is now a very old unit.

What I would like to suggest is the SeaSonic S12G S12G-550 550W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Active PFC Power Supply $69.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151136&cm_re=seasonic_550w-_-17-151-136-_-Product

I believe that Seasonic makes the best power supplies on the planet. I have one in my system, and whenever I build a new system, I always buy Seasonic. The price difference here is $4. But I know the quality of the Seasonic units. And I trust every model they make.

I have now read the review that I mentioned above. If the Seasonic unit I like so much is not available where you live, the XFX Core unit is probably acceptable. I say probably because I do not know if they changed manufacturers in the last 4 years. What was reviewed in 2011 was an ok power supply. It was not great, but it also was not horrible. I would still like to see you end up with the Seasonic if at all possible over the XFX Core unit though.

Thanks

750 Watts Peak does not make it a 750 Watt power supply unit. Low end Andyson made PSUs are an automatic avoid in my books since they tend to explode.
