I am moving to the Corsair Carbide 500R in the next couple days and wanted to get some advice on how to set up my cooling -
First off, here is my build:
AMD FX 8320
Corsair H100i CPU Cooler
Asus M5 A97 R2.0 MOBO
Asus GTX 970 STRIX
Corsair CS750M PSU
16gb Crucial Ballistix Sport XT
Corsair Carbide 500r
The case comes with 2 120mm front intake, 1 120mm back exhaust, 1 200mm side fan (guessing intake?)
my plan was to put the H100i on the top as intake and I have 2 140mm fans and 1 120mm sitting around and these spots left over:
Bottom: (x1) 120/140mm
Mid: (x2) 120mm
What would be best to do with these open spots if anything ? Also should I set the H100i for exhaust instead?
