Upgrade to windows 10 after fresh install of windows 8 (not 8.1)

I've just brought a new SSD as an upgrade to my regular old HDD. I'm planning on a fresh install but don't have time before my holiday, so windows 10 will release by the the time of install. The copy of windows I own is windows 8 which I have the disc for, upgraded to 8.1. Will I still be able to update to windows 10 after a fresh install of windows 8?

Nope u will not be able to upgrade. First upgrade to windows 8.1 to get the upgrade or else use media creation tool and download a iso file and create a bootable pendrive and then install it using it. U must be having a genuine key as u have the genuine cd.
