I was thinking about selling my computer to a friend and doing a new build, but i'm not sure how much its worth.

Well you have what looks like about $1000 worth of parts. Depending on how old the system is and what condition it is in, I would normally take about 20% off for dpreciation. so that gives you a rough figure of about $800. Dont know if you want to cut them a further deal being a friend and all, that is up to you.
