HI, 2 months ago I successfully opened one port to play minecraft with some friends and it worked fine, but now i am trying to open another port for playing another game and when I try to check if it is open in this website (http://www.canyouseeme.org/) it says it is not because it uses my external IP address. I don't know if I am doing something wrong.
I opened my port for my internal ip 192.168.x.xx, do i need to open another port for my external IP or something (206.214.xxx.xx)?
I would really appreciate some help with this

Solution
You should open your ports as you know in your router.
Log into your router.

All ports required that you need to open for most games can be found by doing a quick Google search of the game with the words game ports added at the end of the search string.

When you are in your router.
Go to port forwarding.

Add a name of game:
Current Internal IP address router gave your Pc: 192.168.0.1 to maximum value of 254 for the last digit, that will start from 1

Protocol TCP/UDP :
Port address range values 0-XXXXX.
Make sure you have Upnp enabled in your router.

Set your hardware firewall of your router to Medium and not High.

Make sure you also do not have a software firewall running on your computer or host machine at the same time as...

open command prompt and run ipconfig /all post results here
open your router's web interface and take a screenshot of the port forwarding - post screenshot here
