I'm looking to do a triple monitor setup on the new gaming PC I'm building, the video card I'm getting is the GTX 980 TI from Gigabyte. My question here though, is what would be THE best monitor for triple monitor gaming?

Price budget per monitor is roughly 350-400$
Preferred size - 24 inch, willing to go larger, but NOT willing to go under 24 inches
Looking for low response time
High refresh rate is a plus, but not required.

Currently debating this..

BenQ XL2430T still the best choice. It's under his budget, best looking, 1ms, 140hz response time.

I own a VG248QE, and the only "Gaming" mode I found was one of the many Splendid presets.

It locks out calibration options depending on which one you use (A few of them let you tweak everything) to match what they think are the ideal presets for certain uses, adjust the settings that aren't locked on the OSD from there, pick a mode that gives you access to the most settings, and then adjust it to something you see fit, or find an ICM file (Calibration file, there's one provided on the VG248QE disk) and get a program that allows you to apply ICMs.

That being said, the XL2430T is a much newer monitor than the VG248QE. The VG248QE has been out for awhile now and has seen no new iteration/replacement from ASUS, whereas the XL24xxT series has seen several iterations (2410, 2420, now 2430..) from BenQ to improve the process.

Update: Still at almost $100 less than the XL2430T, the VG248QE will probably continue to be the more popular option.
So for triple monitor setting - you will save almost $ 300 :)

Good point. He could buy some gear with the money he saves. But if you really have everything you need you should go for the BenQ.

You all bring up amazing points, but the BenQ XL2430T will most likely be my option with it being the best option overall, yes, I could save money switching to the VG248QE, BUT, I've already spent 700$ shy of 4000$ on my gaming PC, I'd rather not skimp on the monitors.

Thank you all for the help!
