Ok I have some questions about bitcoin mining:

1. Is my pc an ok mining rig? I have a r7 260x and a FX 8350.
2. I don't pay for my electricity, so how much $ (roughly) could I make in a 24-hour period?
3. Does an experienced miner have any tips for me?

Thanks alot, wanted to see if I could make a little money easy :).

No gpu in the world will make a decent amount because dedicated hardware is just so much faster. A $500 miner is 10,000x better than a $500 gpu and that's not exaggerating, just check the gh/s. You're a couple years late for this to be profitable. You'd make maybe $.01 running 24/7 for an entire month and running your gpu maxed 24/7 is a good way to an early death.

Adding to Alabalcho's statement:

1. No. You'd want more powerful GPUs
2. Nothing. There's no guarantee you'd make anything after weeks of mining and even then you'd most likely have to share the fraction of the coin you received.

That is - not worth the efforts.
