Hey, does it matter where I install the case fans on the motherboard? More specifically, do I need to connect the case fans in a certain order?

Solution
You would adjust the speed with the slider, yes. They will be powered by that molex when it's connected to the power supply. The loose ends are where the fan cables plug in. (The ones you're holding at 25 seconds in on your second vid are what I refer to here.)

The case fans will have their own wires that end in connectors that should fit the ones you have. Look at any of the fans and follow the wire from it to the end.

Don't hook them up where they will interfere with each others airflow. How many fans do you have?

I just noticed that the cables do not fit into the sysfans

This is my case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146074
But my motherboard - MSI X99S Gaming 7 is not compatible with the fans. Is there a way around so I can use these cables? Do I need these fans on?

So to answer your question im guessing the ends. The second video should (I guess?) answer your question

So would it work together or no?

@Saberus

I'm still confused. I don't know if I mentioned this anywhere here but this is my first time building a pc so I will not know a lot of terminology. When you say "The fans themselves would plug into those cables." what do you mean?

And if I dont have to connect the cables to the motherboard does that mean I have to manually adjust the speeds via the slider? Are my fans plugged in already with the molex connector?
