I just swapped out the old router, MI424WR, with the new one from T-mobile, Asus TM AC1900. The Wi-Fi worked fine, with 25Mbps. However, the LAN connection with my desktop dropped to ~1Mbps. This only happens with my desktop. I tried using LAN with my laptop, and it worked fine. I tried connected my desktop to the old router which is connected to the new one, it worked fine. The problem seems to be between my desktop and the new router only. My motherboard model number is Asrock Z87 Pro4. I tried to uninstall and reinstall my LAN driver and change settings in the new driver, nothing seems to work.

Here is a diagram that might help:

Laptop<-->TM AC1900 :working

Desktop<-->TM AC1900 : not working properly, speed super slow, ~1Mbps

Desktop<-->MI424WR : working

Desktop<-->MI424WR<-->TM AC1900: working

If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful!

I tried with different cables, not new, but multiple different cables, and still have this problem. I also tried all 4 ports on the router, none of them work properly. The most frustrating thing is that this router works fine with my laptop, and my parent' laptops through LAN, just not my desktop. I am thinking if there is a compatibility issue between this router and my desktop's motherboard? But I don't know how do I suppose to fix it.

I upgraded to windows 10 today, and one of the software for my motherboard, XFastLAN, was not supported. So, I uninstalled it. Now everything works fine. I think the problem may be the software, in case anyone want to know
