Hello, I had a previous hardware issue resolved quickly last time I was here, so I'm back again for more help! :D

Last night, before I hopped off the computer and into bed, I selected the option to restart and update my computer. Afterwhich I went to bed. When I woke up this morning, my computer looked to be asleep, so I moved the mouse a bit and pressed ASD a couple of times and nothing. I restarted the computer by pressing the restart button on my computer case and it did what it normally did (prompting if I wanted to enter BIOS, etc.) until the screen went black and stayed black after the windows logo with the loading, circling dots underneath it. I didn't even get to the log-in part.

The screen stays black with no cursor in sight. There wasn't any sound of anykind. I tried starting the computer in safe mode, but it did the same thing.

Never mind, I just performed a reset on my computer. Files are gone and it will take time to re download them, however the computer is working at least. I'll do regular back ups from now on, ha ha.
