I have a Dell Latitude D630, the laptop was working great , I turned it off to give it a memory upgrade from 2 to 4 gigs and now it won't turn on at all. The lights flash on for about 3 seconds , no sound nothing just the 3 power flashing lights and the keyboard light then nothing. I did it with this tutorial.

I've tested the memory on another laptop same as the one that won't turn on at all same with hard drive and they're both working. Since it makes no sound I'm guessing it's the motherboard. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thank you.

your link doesn't work (
First of all, uninstall new module, battery and uplug the PSU, press the power button and hold for a few seconds. Connect back everything except new memory module. Still doesn't work?
Visit http://www.datamemorysystems.com/ to get sure of compability of your laptop with the memory module you've added.

Yes the ram is ddr2 667 MHz 2 gigs each, and I've tried all of your suggestions from a post here in the forum. I've been doing it over a time period of a little over a month now. I've tried the memory on my other laptop of the same make and model number, Dell latitude D630. The new and the old memory and they work just fine. The laptop supports both 667 and 800 but I bought the 667 so as not to make more changes than needed.

Here is the link again. I copied pasted from the post above and it works for me. The layout on this page breaks the link.
