I have use laptop for quite sometime (gt130m) which performance is quite sad for the last 2 years (bought this 4-5 yrs ago i think).

now i come to planning to buy a custom build pc. the only doubt i have is that whether my pc build is going to be good for a long term usage or not. I would welcome any insight. Please bear with my knowledge in this because, I admit that I am a newbie in pc components n stuff,

Much better. Would recommend over that poor CoolerMaster PSU

Yes, I am also quite worried about that. My friend told me to buy gtx 970 but after checking out the price, it was quite painful. is there any other option?

I do have set that worst come worst, I might need to keep saving up my cash till im capable of buying this.
(or maybe there is a better alternative than this?)

MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card

Definitely get a good PSU.

Maybe switch to an i5 4440 and put a little more into the GPU. Or even consider an AMD FX 6300/6350 build with a better GPU. Would be a better balance between CPU/GPU power. And in modern games AMD actually does quite well for the money.
