Hi,
I just bought gigabyte's gtx 980 ti, and I am not getting performance as I have expected..

on ultra I get from Battelfield 4 60-70 fps avg dropping to 50.
on cs:go I get 80-90 fps when I got on my previous 7950 HD 200-220.

here is my 3dmark test:
http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/7868120?

as you can see the result is pretty poor..

my rig:
AMD fx-8350 4.0ghz
16gb ram
Gigabyte AM3+ 990XA-UD3

Any suggestion why is this happening ? Thanks.

Did you download the correct drivers? Or Nvidia drivers at all?

Do you have a good OSD on your PC? You should check the CPU vs GPU usage on the meters. If the card is overclocked, reset to default settings, as it could be the OC causing the problem. Do a fresh, clean install of the drivers, and reseating the card could also help. If all else fails, RMA.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I have deleted the drivers and installed this time from clean only drivers that I need, the graphic drivers an physics.
In result, cs:go is now getting 200 avg fps (like I got in my previous 7950 HD) and Battelfield 4 gets 75 avg dropping to 55-60, which is slightly better then before but still not what I expected.

the 3dmark score is pretty much the same.

I did not understand, what do you mean by OSD, and how I need to check the CPU vs GPU usage.

On Screen Display like RivaTuner to be able to view the GPU/CPU usage %. Basically if your GPU is less that 100%[or around ther], but your CPU is maxed out, that means that your CPU is bottlenecking, which from what I hear, the 8350 wouldn't do, if overclocked.

That's a bit high on CPU, mine usually only gets to like 10-20% on any game..but I have intel, hmm.. Do you have the card overclocked? You should run it at stock if it is. I get more fps than that on 1440p so you should def get more. Check the settings in nvidia control panel and for global, set power preference to "prefer maximum performance," make sure that BF4 isn't upscaled to a higher 16:9 resolution than 1920x1080.

It could have something to do with your processor...what cooler do you have and what are your CPU temps while gaming or benchmarking? Your physics score in firestrike is way low and that has to do more with your cpu processing power. Your combined score is horrid, which has to do with your cpu working in conjunction with your gpu...the graphics test looks decent though, if your card is not overclocked.
