I'm building a PC for the first time, so to avoid disappointment I'm asking for advice. I'm looking mainly for gaming. Does this build make sense, and could I do some overclocking with it? I'll be shipping to Ireland from Amazon UK and HardwareVersand.

GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 Tri-X OC (€299 @ HardwareVersand.de)
Mobo: ASRock Fatal1ty 970 Performance (€103 @ HardwareVersand.de)
Case: Corsair 200R (€60 @ HardwareVersand.de)
PSU: Corsair VS Serie 650W (€53 @ HardwareVersand.de)
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport CL9 DDR3 PC3-12800 (€54 @ HardwareVersand.de)
Monitor: Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" (£189 @ Amazon UK)
I already have SSD and HDD remaining from my old laptop:
SSD: 250GB Samsung EVO 840
HDD: 750GB Western Digital WD7500BPVT
