Hey guys, so a bit of background - I want to build a pc for the purpose of making high quality YouTube gaming videos of the latest gen games, e.g. ark survival, witcher 3 etc.
I would love a system that would be able to play all these games at max settings really smooth, even whilst I'm recording.
So here's what I've come up with so far:
Processor: i7-490k CPU (Quad Core 4GHz, Socket H3 LGA-1150) (£253)
Graphics Card: Nvedia GTX 980Ti (£570)
Display: Acer Predator XB270HAbprz 27" LED Gaming Monitor, G-Sync 1ms 144Hz Displayport 100M:1 Height Adjust, Pivot (£372.50)
Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 (£65)
Motherboard: ASUS ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97-Pro (Wi-Fi AC) (£182)
RAM: Corsair CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10 Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL10 XMP Performance Desktop Memory Kit (£80)
HDD: WD 2 TB 3.5 inch Internal HD (£100)
DVD: Asus DVD-RW Bulk Drive (£15)
SSD: Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD sata III 2.5-inch internal up to 55MB/s read - 240 GB (£97)
Power: XFX ProSeries 750W Modular 80+ Gold Power Supply (£95)
Case: Corsair CC-9011030-WW Carbide Series Air 540 Atx High Airflow Cub Performance Windowed Computer Case (£102)
I included the prices in case i'm getting overcharged / paying too much for something etc.
Sorry I wrote so much, I'm a bit paranoid about ordering the stuff and then after waiting ages not having them fit in the motherboard etc. Would really appreciate some advice about whether it's a good system for the money and whether it will work/ perform well enough.
Thanks a LOT!
