Solution
The second one is a sshd which means that it also has 8gb of flash memory.
It is supposed to improve the performance. My take is that 8gb is not enough.

The Seagate is a Hybrid drive, incorporating both solid state internals as well as regular hard drive internals.

Honestly, even with SS being better, I'd still go with the HGST. They are rated as the most reliable while Seagate drives were rated as least reliable. (According to some sources).
