Hey guys. I'm pretty good with computers in general, but when it comes to networking or anything like that I consider my self a newbie.
Basically, when the guy from AT&T installed the router for our internet, he put it in my brothers room but I need it in my room so I can connect to it via Ethernet cord. How would I go about moving this? It has a box on the back of it on the wall that I've never seen before, which is what is confusing me. Is it as easy as just unplugging it, bringing it to my room, and plugging it in? Am I even able to do this, or do I need to have AT&T come out and do it?
