Help in port forwarding in 2 router setup.

Solution
So lets assume you can get port forwarding configured and working with just your router/modem ignoring the netgear. I have never seen that model so I can be of little help.

So now your only problem should be you want wireless. The easiest solution to that is to use your netgear as a AP rather than a router. It is mostly just cabling to the lan port and turning off dhcp on the netgear but there are tons of things if you search "how to use router as AP"

Using the netgear as a AP solves the port forwarding issue because the router of your second router is not being used when you run as AP.

Is there any particular reason you're using two routers? There could be easier ways to accomplish the setup you're going for.

Just because I know it's a common problem with multi-router home networks, have you checked your second router to ensure that DHCP is turned off?

ok so i just realized i dont have a static IP, its dynamic.
Do i have any chances of having port forwarded? i believe yes its just that i will have to keep changing the server IP everytime my setup gets a new one.
So still help.

Seriously guys i cannot just find a guide for my specific router (WNR614).
In general NetGear router have a AP mode setting under advance setup but my setup page does not have any, I am on the latest firmware from netgear.

You do not need a setting in the router.

You plug the cable into the lan jack leave wan empty. Turn off the dhcp and set the lan ip to something that does not conflict.

OK I was able to make the router an access point but now the problem is that my base modem/router has only 1 Ethernet port so I cannot connect it to the pc then :/

Yes i think i have configured it correctly.
1) disabled DHCP server on netgear router.
2) Set its LAN IP to 192.168.1.55

My main router gives me TPv4 address 192.168.1.2 and gateway to be 192.168.1.1 and the dhcp range is from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.50

NOTE: the internet in my pc works fine but in wifi my smartphone wont connect (stuck on obtaining IP address).

To do a little experimenting I had this really old ZTE ZXDSL 831AII modem/router, so I plugged it in and made AP configured according to it, in this try everything worked fine but I couldn't forward the ports, and I believe its a issue due to it being real old (almost 7-8 years)
