Will this GPU work my motherboard?

Solution

Ok youll be fine then, the cx600m is fine. Not the best PSU out there but will do the job without breaking anything.

Ive used tons of Corsair CX PSUs with no issues.

Yes. This motherboard offers a single PCIe 3.0 16x lane, which is used for a graphics card.

It will be the long blue one with a locking mechanism.

HOWEVER~ Take caution in selecting a graphics card. Many of them require additional power supply connectors. And if you do not have the proper hook ups your GPU will not work.

The card that you have specified requires a SINGLE EIGHT (8) PIN PICe cable.

If your power supply does not have this, you will be forced to use adapters, which is not advisable.

The cricket sounds you just heard after you pasted the brand/model of your power supply is because it's a tier 4 power supply, which isn't that good. However it's extremely common for people to have. At some point, you should upgrade it to a tier 1. Enjoy your new coming video card. I've pasted a couple of resources below that you might find interesting. Enjoy your coming graphics card. Also, if I can be a little bold, I feel that I should mention that an extra USD$100 will get you to a GTX 970 or R9 390, and that would be a big upgrade over a GTX 960. Just thought I would mention.

Tier Four
No Japanese capacitors found. Only Taiwanese capacitors and may even include Chinese capacitors. Very basic safety circuits or even thin gauge wiring used. Not for gaming rigs or overclocking systems of any kind. Avoid unless your budget dictates your choice.
