Hi all,
This has been asked before, so I'm sorry if I annoy any of you
I'm currently running a fx-6300 at 4.5ghz along side my r9 290 tri-x.
Game performance is pretty good, but I'm looking to try to gain anything I can and limit the minimum dips in FPS.
Would I gain anything upgrading my oc'ed 6300 to a fx-8350 if I oc'ed it to 4.5 - 4.7ghz range?
Currently playing the Witcher 3 at around 60+ fps, but can get dips to the 50's in the citys etc (I know im being greedy).
Not looking to upgrade to an Intel just yet. Waiting on the Skylake and Zen releases and hoping AMD give me a reason to get another chip next year.
Thanks
