i am getting a i5-4690K no graphics card(to start with) and am planning to play mostly Dota 2/ CS GO, as well as homework for school(flash cs6 and stuff), do i need an aftermarket cpu cooler or is the stock cooler fine? Thanks!

Solution
If you plan to overclock, you'll want to ge an aftermarket cooler. If you don't plan on overclocking, but you want a really quite system you should get an aftermarket cooler. They don't have to bust the bank to be good. The Hyper 212 EVO is somewhere around $30 and it's a very good cooler for the money and much better than the stock cooler.

Need to? No not really for what your planning to do. Should you want to? Yeah if your case allows for one, I'd recommend one. The stock intel coolers are crap and louder than good 3rd party coolers. The Cooler Master 212 Hyper Evo is a good inexpensive cooler that's incredibly quiet, and will let you play with some light over clocking on it should you feel the need. Worth it for 30 bucks. Just make sure to check your case's clearance for CPU coolers before you buy one.
