Hi there tomshardware folks,
I was wondering how many fans I can still add. I have an asrock Z75 Pro3 mobo with a Cooler Master 690 CM III case. The asrock website lists: - 2 x CPU Fan connectors (1 x 4-pin, 1 x 3-pin)
- 2 x Chassis Fan connectors (1 x 4-pin, 1 x 3-pin)
- 1 x Power Fan connector (3-pin). The CM Case 690 comes with a 200 mm front fan and a 120 mm rear fan. There are still options for the top and bottom of the case. If possible, i'd like to add two on top and one on bottom (scythe slipstream). But from what it looks like, i'll use my 2 chassis fans for the cooler master one's, one cpu fan connector for my cm hyper 212 evo, and one power fan connector for my PSU. So I was wondering, is there any way I could still add 3 more fans? Also, I'd like to be able to control the speeds of the scythes, I've read they become really loud at 1600 rpm. I could also opt for scythe's 1200 rpm (same price essentially). Thanks!
