Hello. Recently, I got an old computer from some family and have been thinking I should upgrade it. I have been looking at this processor and am wondering if it is compatable with my CPU slot. I have a Socket AM3. Thank in advance.

unfortunately, that cpu isn't compatible with socket am3.
it is a socket fm2+ compatible apu with it's integrated gpu disabled. it will fit other socket fm2+ motherboards.
if your pc is a prebuilt pc, consult your pc's manual or support webpage for a list of supported cpus. prebuilt pcs often employ customized BIOS that further limit cpu upgrade options.
