hello i was wondering if i update my bios willi gain any performance or anything and can i update my bios version is currently 1401 and i was wondering if i could go to 2001

motherboard
M5A78L-M/USB3

cpu
amd 6300

If everything is fine right now you don't need to upgrade. It will not gain any performance. But if you have some compatibility issues, you may want to consider it.

Ow right just says that updates after mine has system stability and memory improvements

bios updates are for addressing specific problems with your pc such as cpu compatibility etc.if you have no issues covered by the update dont do it as a bios update gone bad can turn your pc into a doorstop real quick.as was said above you will gain no performance from updating the bios,unless of course you have a specific performance issue that is addressed by the update.
