Bran new Motherboard CPU and fan bundle stick of 4GB ddr3 ram new case new P.S.U.
Motherboard is GA-F2A68HM-HD2 (1.1) when I switch on mouse lights up and when I press start C.P.U. fan runs but is hunting (fast and slow) hard drive spins up no video out

Which APU do you have? Maybe you need the newer BIOS for your cpu. Support list http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/cpu-support-popup.aspx?pid=5397

I have AMD A series A4 5300 Trinity socket FM2 3.4GHZ 1MB L2 Cache this was supplied pre installed on MB
