Currently have a WD blue 1tb that has quickly filled up.. Not sure if its all the games or the video files but i need more space. Right now the Seagate 3tb is price friendly and the right size but I'm wondering if using the two different brands will be alright, I'm assuming yes but i just want to double check. Answers much appreciated.

WD Green as an extra storage drive is fine. Movies, music, backups, etc.
I have a couple of them.

OS and applications on the 1TB Blue.

Admirable

Or really anything. It's not Hitachi Deathstar bad but it's a close as I have seen in quite sometime.

lol alright then so would you recommend sticking with Western Digital? I can pick up their 3tb green for only 10 bucks more but I'm not sure if the 5400 RPM will be alright if I'm saving my video files on to it?

or perhaps it would make more sense for me to put my games on the 3tb and my videos and windows on my 1tb blue? pretty new to the video recording youtube seen so any advise is welcome.
