Are there disadvantages to using DDR4 memory with higher frequencies than the processor is rated for? I know it will trottle down (as long as the mobo supports the higher memory frequency in the first place) but 2400Mhz memory is actually cheaper than 2133Mhz where I'm looking and if 2400 performs no different I may as well get it and utilise the rated speed on my next processor.
