Is this a hardware or software graphical issue? (In-game video footage included)

Hi there,

i'm trying to run a game called dead space, i'm having terrible graphical problems... - that others don't seem to have..

here's the 20sec demonstration:

i'm running it on a i7-4790k (4.00ghz) + 290x vaporx crossfired.
I have graphical issues on just about every single game i play,,, yet bench tests show no problems.... there isn't too much heat.....
i just don't know what's up... - i certainly won't be buying amd again -_-

thanks for any ideas as to just what on earth is up with the game i linked, above.
Regards,
J

Interesting, i would think that's software maybe a driver issue I highly doubt it has anything to do with your hardware that would present itself with artifacting or something.

What other graphical issues have you run into? And what kind of temps are you getting on the 290x's?

Hi all,

well it turned out to be a weird game with an array of big glitches e.t.c.
Luckily - now they're all fixed.
That said - i do think i've got a problem with my drivers,,,, or something - as other games have terrible problems too :)
So i'll do a clean install of the drivers and figure out GPU temps e.t.c.

Deadspace solution:
CCC for some reason wasn't forcing v-sync even though i had it set to override..
So I installed RadeonPro - and forced v-sync, tripple buffering and 60hz refresh rate
This then solved the 'strobe' effect...... and the extremely unresponsive mouse... and the 'door glitch' at the beginning.

thanks for all the advice.
