Will any gpu work in asus p6x58d-e because it has a 2.0 slot.

So I want a better gpu but the best gpu's fit in a 3.0 PCI slot (idk but I think I am correct).I believe the asus p6x58d-e has a PCIe 2.0 so will 3.0 Graphics cards be usable with this motherboard?
Sorry I don't really know anything about PCs.

Yes, it will work... It is just a speed difference. It's like your car on American roads it CAN drive faster but the speed limit is restricting that. (You probably won't even notice a difference between 2.0 & 3.0)
