How to retrieve data from a WD Caviar 22100 hard drive?

I have a hard drive that has been removed from my old desktop PC and I am wondering how I can retrieve the data from it. I have read it's nearly impossible to get the data from most WD hard drives. Is there a docking station that is compatible with a WD Caviar 22100? Or any other WD's? I have two other WD's I'd like to try to get the data of of as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there wlbressler,

This was an internal drive right? If this is the case, you can just attach it either externally with some adapter like the one that Mattios suggested(keep in mind that this is a 3.5'' drive and you will need power source as well) or internally to a port that is IDE. In case the drive is healthy, you should have no issues with that.

Let me know in case you have some more questions,
