I got a AMD Athlon x4 840 and when i play csgo my CPU temperature is going up to 89 , is that normal ? I didnt overclock and it's a new CPU , and it's quite noisy
the max operating temp of that cpu is 71'c so at a guess the cooler isnt correctly locked down.
or the motherboard is being overly generous with the voltage. check em both.
if your not overclocking try setting the voltage to 1.125v if it boots run it for a while and see if you have any issues.

AMD APU/CPU's are known to get hot, however 89C on CS:GO is making me uncomfortable.
Try remounting the cooler with a thermal paste like Arctic MX-4. Cheap and reliable.

I saw the 89C temperature in "Speccy" but now i downloaded AMD OverDrive and now it shows 40-53 when playing CS:GO i think that is good.
Speccy doesnt measure correctly.
