So I bought a corsair 300r case, z97 asus pro, 8gb of corsair vengeance 1600mhz ram, and an i5 4590, from Frys.

Also bought artic silver 5 for good measure.

the motherboard was on the discount pile and didn't come with any documentation. I do believe I got a really good deal because on my receipt it says: "Msi z97 guard pro", and they charged me 110 dollars, and I also got a 30 dollar rebate.

however I looked up pictures of my mobo and apparently I ACTUALLY have the asus pro, which sells for 289 dollars. Pretty sweet deal eh?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the board come with a build in network card right? That's what the employee told me.

Anyways...Is it true that if there are two black ram slots and two grey slots, I want my two 4gb ram sticks to be in the same color slots? aka, slot 2 and 4 which are both black, for example?

You'll see these switches in the pictures. Not sure if they are in the right positions or not.

Also on my old pc, there are two 'CPU' cables that come from my PSU. they are 2x2 pins each...I don't see any 2x2 inserts near the CPU area...

Also...if you look
