guys im having a really big problem right now because my CPU always hit 90+ when i play heavy games like GTA V

my spec are:
i5 2500K @stock (turbo enabled)
8GB RAM
MSI GTX 970 4GDT5
Super Flower Golden Green 600W
DeepCool Gamerstorm Maelstorm 120K

im using the pea method to the thermal paste, the idle temep are also a little bit high, around 45-50
i already tried to re-apply the thermal paste 3 times, still get the same result

anyway i recently just changed my case and my cpu cooler, back then im using TT Frio Advance, now since im using Corsair 100R, my TT Frio Advance cant fit so i bought new cooler, but im regretting now because back then max temp while gaming are only around 70.. can anyone help me?? what should i do?

THANKS!!

You should not play games at 90+ if you decide to play anyways you will be decreasing the lifespan of your CPU. Also what way is your radiator pulling...

What thermal paste are you using?
Try replacing your cooling solution to a Corsair H100i.
If the outside thermal paste is a premium brand, you may try an extreme solution, like replacing the thermal paste on the Processor Die itself.(The one underneath the alumium cover.

im using this one, before this im using the pre-apllied thermal paste, but i dont see any big difference on the temp after changing
http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/thermal-compound/ic-value-v1/

well H100i is too high for my budget,

i also checked the pump RPM and its always around 5100-5200, is that normal?
anyway currently my case is lack of airflow right now, i only have stock fans on the back and fans from the cooler on the top, no fans on the front, u think this also causing the high temp of my cpu?

and, is it safe if i play games at 90+C cpu temp in long time period?

You should not play games at 90+ if you decide to play anyways you will be decreasing the lifespan of your CPU. Also what way is your radiator pulling air? From case of from the room? Because if it's from the case then you will be recycling hot air from the case. Get a Cooler Master Jetflo fan and place it in front or at the back of the case for better airflow. Also get a better thermal paste like Arctic Silver 5 or MX-4.
