Asrock Z97 extreme 4 reliability

I am planing to build a new pc and wanted a black and blue colour scheme so i was looking at the asrock extreme 4 but a lot of review on newegg and amazon sreview say this motherboard isnt reliable.Is this true? Does anyone have experiances with it?
Specs:
I5 4690k
2x Evga GTX 970 SC
XFX XXX 650w semi modular psu

Hi jollypirate,

Asrock/Asus went a long way and are now bringing out quality products that are more and more reliable. Take note that people in general will write treads on forum about their boards when they have problems with them more than when the board is running perfectly without issues.

Buying a board is like buying a car, no matter what price you put on it, you never know if your going to get problems with it. I got an EVGA board and the board fried after 2 months and had to send it back. Then send me the exact same model and been running on it for years without issues.

In my opinion, we buy the boards for their performance but the real importance is the service that the company can provide if you do get issues with the product.

I look at it anymore as with any brand or part theres all ways that chance you can get the lemon .. you buy - you try -and hope it don't make you cry ..

It is true that more people with bad board will write posts and reviews but if you look to other mobos they dont have as many negative reviews i've also read the review but while it tells a lot of usefull info they dont rrally use it for a long time so realabilty is still a question

I use asrock [am3+/z87 ] with out issue -- some of the bad reviews coud be end user fault and they blame the part for there short comings -- I enjoy/ prefer this asrock way over my ''last'' asus .. seemed to me the asus ended up to be way more hype then quality - then it was like they had 20 bios updates for ''improved stability'' when like board only had 6 or 10 in the same amount of time ?? how unstable was the asus to start with ?? then it was dropped and a rev2 came out ..

got this asrock moved all the parts off the issue asus and it fired up stable first boot - that asus could not say that not even after a 100 boots
