Ok so I'm building a new pc soon which I intend to use for around 5 up to even 10 years as a backup rig. So components like the motherboard and power supply I want at high quality. There are various questions I need answered. Such as should I jump in with dual cards, or maybe buy a single more powerful card and through another one in later. I will be building this PC at the start of 2016, so will Skylake CPU's be available then? So here is a parts list of what I plan to use at the moment:

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/T949Hx

-The gpu isn't included as my friend is lending me one
-The cpu cooler will be added later

Some other things I wish to do

-overclocking (obviously)
-dual sli in the future

Any tips/recommendations will be appreciated, as well as any monitor/peripheral recommendations. Thanks :)

Here you go, this build is more future proof with its DDR4 and the latest intel socket and chipset (till skylake comes out next month). Your build is imo just overpriced in my opinion

And yes at the start of 2016 skylake CPU's will be available but you shouldn't worry about the build already if it is 5 months from now.

Cool, thanks for the recommendation. Sorry I didn't specify that this was AUD, not USD. Thanks for the advice! :)

I'm still sure if I should go for it or the Define R5, what would you chose?
